PEERS+ Clinical Intervention

PEERS+ is an extension to the PEERS program whereby graduates of PEERS are provided a booster session on the program and also new content related to dating and social relationships.  As such, the program is a combination of information from the teen and adult programs.

Dates and Times

Thursday evenings from 6:30 – 8:00 PM,  May 30 – June 27, 2024

Cost:

$500 registration fee + transaction fees = $515.24

Program Facilitators:

This intervention is overseen by Dr. Adam McCrimmon, R.Psych. Dr. McCrimmon is an Associate Professor at the University of Calgary and the Director of the Autism Spectrum Education, Research, and Training (ASERT) lab. He is a Certified PEERS Provider.  The program will be administered by four graduate student clinicians who are familiar with autism and have been trained on the PEERS and PEERS-YA programs and curricula.

Program Location:

The program will be held in the Education Complex, Rooms 351 and 354 at the University of Calgary.  A map of the campus can be found here, with the Education Complex indicated as ‘EDC’ in the right-hand portion.  Parking is best accessed via Lot 1 (pay and display lot to the immediate left of the EDC building).
